A Word About Networks
A recent business study reports that a growing number of smaller companies are finding that they are outgrowing their existing networks, a condition which could place them at a competitive disadvantage. Very likely many of these systems were installed several years ago using only the minimum network standards and requirements existing at the time - i.e. word processing, data storage and retrieval, email, Internet access and printer sharing. Today, as companies turn to these same networks for voice, video and other data-intensive applications, these older underlying network infrastructures are no longer sufficient.
